Dark Magic

Aside from the known six Primal Sources, there is a seventh magical source, though not as "clean" and respected as the others. Over time it has been learned that not everyone is born connected to a Primal Source and no one is sure exactly what causes this to happen but it leaves the being unprotected and more reliant on their peers than others.

 

Dark Magic has been discovered to fill the gap that a bond with a Source would make, thus giving the user the power they lacked before. Power that other Primal Sources do not have. But it comes with certain consequences.
