Rules

It is important for all members, admin, and spectators to be aware of and follow all rules that are set for PE in order to maintain an enjoyable and supportive rp environment. Those who decide not to abide by the rules will have strict consequences set for them. Of course warnings will be given before any actions are taken.

I) First and foremost, please treat fellow players, admins, and spectators with the utmost respect. This rule is meant to keep out any bad relations between people as this is an environment that is meant to be fun. Do not use harsh words against others, single out, or purposely ignore others. These actions are not kind and will not go without punishment.

This includes respecting other's trigger warnings. Of course anything that may be a trigger in general should be covered with the spoiler tag and a trigger warning label (tw).

II) Players must be +17 in order to participate. Some events in the game may not be suitable for young players despite them saying that they can handle it. We of course cannot stop younger players from reading about the story line or the provided documents that are set to the public but within the group we will be strict about this rule. This is also a bit of a personal preference for the of the GM.

Those who are currently 16 but will be 17 before the start of the game are welcome to join. Just be sure to contact the GM about this before sending in an application.

III) Keep any drama between you and another member out of the group's chats. Once again, this is to keep peace within the group and there have been instances when drama got caught up between rpers and it made the rp experience less enjoyable for everyone. If you feel that you need an admin to help mend the situation then please reach out and the staff will do what they can to resolve the problem.

IV) Do not take what a character does personally. The characters do not reflect the rper and so any actions made by the characters are not targeted at you personally. This is a land full of magical cats of varying personalities and some may be more harsh than others but it should all stay within the rp. Once again, if you feel that an admin is needed to resolve the situation then please reach out.

V) The actions you make in character will have consequences. This is something that you need to be mindful of, especially with the prominence of death. Even actions that don't result in death may still have negative reactions.

VI) No god-modding or meta-gaming. You can only control your character's actions, thoughts, and feelings and cannot affect another's character dramatically without the player's consent. Also keep any ooc information out of the rp universe. You know more about what is happening than your character and that is how it is meant to be.

VII) Anything that is instructed to be kept a secret in the game must be kept as just that, a secret until otherwise told by the GM. One of the goals of the game is finding your character's other half, their soulmate, and this mechanic is meant to be treated as a puzzle for fun as players progress in the game. Revealing anything about your Primal Shade or Soul Partner without admin confirmation is against this rule and the player will be immediately removed from the campaign.

VIII) You must have a Discord account in order to participate. The rp will take place in google docs and discord so it is important for players to be able to access any apps/websites required as it is a vital part of participating in the game.

The group will also have information displayed on other platforms such as Twitter and DeviantArt which players are welcome to interact with but they are not required to have accounts with those platforms.

IX) Be mindful of character age gaps when planning relationships. This applies mostly to characters that are of very young age (1.5 years or younger) and for characters with a good number of years between them. If it is not something deemed appropriate, do not pursue it.

X) Do not glorify or mock any sensitive topics. These topics include subjects such as mental illness, self-harming or harm to others including abuse, transphobia, homophobia, miscarriages, and more. Be aware of how these topics will affect others and that they are not something to speak of casually or to joke around about.

XI) Any artwork submitted to the group must be your own or properly credited. Tracing work or claiming another's work as your own is hurtful to the original creator and is not something that is supported in this group.
