The Original

Throughout every character's life, they have only known 1 world which will be referred to as The Original throughout the game.

 

It is a replica of today's world where humans actively roam around with concrete and metallic cities that grow high into the sky, a creation of their own making. Pollution is just as bad and has altered the weather in recent years much like we experience, and natural bodies of water are littered to varying amounts of trash and waste.

 

Cats are still kept as household pets but there are a large number who find themselves living in the large cities and even fewer in the wild. Over time as the humans took away more and more of the forests, many animals were forced to change in order to survive so now many are pets. In the wild areas that are left, humans will be quick to take away the land's resources to create their own to expand their cities.

Of course some places that are more habitable than others and some circumstances lead to a longer life expectancy than others, but all of that is up to you as a player as you are free to create any starting point for your character. There will be no preset landmarks, geography, or groups but we do ask that anything you make for your character's backstory reflects somewhat to modern day life and technologies, as well as being respectful to all cultures.
